Do REI Dividends Expire?<\/p>\n

REI, also known as Recreational Equipment Inc., is a popular outdoor retail company that offers a wide range of gear and products for outdoor enthusiasts. One of the benefits of being an REI Co-op member is the opportunity to earn annual dividends on eligible purchases. These dividends essentially represent a portion of the member’s annual purchases and can be used towards future purchases at REI. However, one common question that arises among REI members is whether these dividends expire or not. In this article, we will address this question directly and provide clarity on the matter.<\/p>\n

Do REI dividends expire?<\/p>\n

The answer is no. REI dividends do not expire. Unlike many other loyalty programs or reward points offered by different companies that come with an expiration date, REI dividends are valid indefinitely. As long as you remain an active member of the REI Co-op, your dividend dollars will be available for use whenever you choose.<\/p>\n

It’s important to note that dividends are typically issued in mid-March and remain available for use until around January of the following year. Once issued, they can be redeemed online, in-store, and even through mail orders. The total amount of your dividend can be checked by logging in to your REI account or by contacting REI customer service.<\/p>\n
