**How did Cavendish get an experimental value for gravitational force?**<\/p>\n

In the late 18th century, the English scientist Henry Cavendish devised a groundbreaking experiment that allowed him to calculate the gravitational constant and measure the force of gravity between two objects. This experiment, known as the Cavendish experiment, was a remarkable achievement in the field of physics and laid the foundation for our understanding of gravity today.<\/p>\n

To conduct his experiment, Cavendish made use of a torsion balance, a delicate apparatus consisting of a horizontal bar suspended from a thin wire. At each end of the bar, Cavendish hung two lead spheres, carefully balanced and positioned close to two larger stationary spheres.
