Some car reward credit cards give extra rebates on purchases made at the cards&#8217; affiliated brand dealerships. Others also provide category bonuses at, for example, gas stations, grocery stores, and drug stores. Always read\u00a0<strong>credit card solicitations<\/strong>\u00a0that you find online and receive by mail closely. They will describe exactly how your\u00a0<strong>rebates<\/strong>\u00a0accrue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A number of car reward cards have a cap on the amount of points you can accrue per year, usually anywhere from\u00a0<strong>300 to 500.<\/strong>\u00a0Ask the credit card issuer when you apply for the card, if you can&#8217;t find it on the solicitation. Also, don&#8217;t forget about your auto rewards, they usually have an expiration date. One of the longest expiration terms I&#8217;ve found is 5 years. Surely you plan on purchasing a vehicle in that time frame?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Reward_Redemption\"><\/span>Reward Redemption<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">How would you like to redeem your rewards? With some car\u00a0reward credit cards, you have options. You can simply redeem them when you purchase a new or used vehicle or some cards allow you to even redeem them for\u00a0<strong>car repairs and service.<\/strong>\u00a0Each card has a unique way of redemption, whether it involves you, sending the credit card issuer a\u00a0<strong>bill of sale<\/strong>\u00a0for the vehicle, or receipts for the service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You may even receive&nbsp;<strong>bonus rewards<\/strong>&nbsp;for purchasing a specific type of vehicle with cards such as the good old GM Flexible Earnings Card. If you&#8217;re afraid you&#8217;ll change your mind about purchasing a vehicle in the future, find an&nbsp;<strong>auto reward credit card<\/strong>&nbsp;that gives a&nbsp;<strong>cash back<\/strong>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<strong>online point rewards<\/strong>.
