However, there are some exceptions and caveats to consider.<\/p>\n

One of the key factors that determine whether fair housing laws apply is the nature of the commercial property. If the property includes a residential component, such as an apartment building, fair housing laws may come into play. In such cases, the sale or rental of the residential units within the property would be subject to fair housing regulations.<\/p>\n
