In the 2000 NBA Draft, Jarić was selected as the 30th overall pick by the Los Angeles Clippers. He played three seasons with the Clippers before being traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2005. In 2008, he was traded once again, this time to the Memphis Grizzlies. However, an agreement was reached between Jarić and the Grizzlies for him not to attend training camp, leading to his release.

Following his NBA career, Jarić returned to Europe and played for Spanish Liga ACB club Real Madrid in 2009. He later joined the Italian LBA club Montepaschi Siena in 2011. Jarić made an NBA comeback attempt with the Chicago Bulls in 2012 but was waived.
